Chrome yellow is a yellow pigment made of lead(II) chromate(PbCrO₄). It was first extracted from the mineral crocoite. The color range is lemon, light, orange, medium and deep chrome yellow. The pigments are gloss, bright color shade and excellent hiding power,mainly used for producing coating, paints, inks, plastic, rubber etc.
